Kindergarten @ Raglan Public School

Hello and goodbye,

Our term together has almost come to an end.   I finish up on class with Kindergarten at the end of this term. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children and getting to know the wonderful little personalities they are creating for themselves.

Keep up the GREAT work in class Kindergarten and the amazing job at home Mum and Dad.

Meet Frosty the Snowman

Hi everyone,

Wow! What a great concert! Thank you to everyone for your support with this event in attendance, costumes, props, DVD’s. Much appreciated.

This week we have our BDO (Big Day Out) on Wednesday. Children need to dress up as their favourite sporting person. The emphasis of the day is on a healthy lifestyle, starting with a healthy breakfast, followed by a healthy lunch and combined with a day of active outdoor activities.

Also this week, we are making toys from recycled materials  as a finale to our Science Unit on toys. If you are able to come into the classroom and help in this time (Thursday 1:40 – 3:00) please do – There will be a lot of cutting, hole making, sticky taping, etc to assist with… I will need all the help I can get.

P.S. – We are running very low on tissues for the classroom. If you have a spare box at home or happen to remember to grab a spare one when at the shops next, could you please send it in with your child. Ta.

Can you believe we are half way through the term already? Time flies when you’re having fun!!!

Book Week – Wasn’t the book week parade a blast!?! Kindergarten had so much fun on Wednesday – thank you to those of you who were able to hang around and support RPS. It was great to see so many children in costume too

Recycled goods – Thank you too for everyone that has been filling up our storeroom with their recycled goods, ready for making our toy creations at the end of the term.

Reminders

• Eisteddfod for Kindy is this week (2nd  Sept). Please ensure your child is dressed in full school uniform with clean shoes and tidy hair.
• Our school concert is coming up fast (16th Sept). Have you organised your child’s costume yet?
